Delegates of four blocks extended support to son of former Minister Sharief Naiz

MOHD MAJID MALIK  With the All India Congress Committee (AICC) planning to conduct organizational elections for its district president Doda infighting and factionalism further increases in Doda Congress Committee. The delegates of four blocks of Bhaderwah constituency which included Changa , Chilly , Jakyas and Bhalessa hold a high level emergency meet in Gundoh area where they decided to support Nadeem Sharief son of former minister and three time MLA Mohd Sharief Naiz for the post of district president Doda Congress Committee which has further increase the tug of war within the party .They also counted the salient features of their candidate and claimed that delegates from Bhaderwah , Doda , Inderwal and Ramban will also support Nadeem . In the meeting Om Prakash President BCC ,Haji Shah Din,Kuldeep Singh,Mohd Abass Rather,Balkishan Pathania,Ch.Haji Latief,Ch.Haji Noor Hussan,Ram Singh,Ishrat Ali,Bodh Raj Chib,Ch.Nek Mohd,Ch.Bashir Ahmed,Mohd Yasir khan,Ashiq Sheikh,Mohinder Singh,Balwant Singh Bhagat,ch.Hakam Din,Younis Malik,Zakir Hussan,Harabans Singh,Baldev Singh and other top leaders participated . Now when the Congress in Doda is all set to elect its new district president, Congress party is divided between the factions as one faction supports Nadeem Sharief and other faction support Sheikh Mujeeb Ali who some years back left PDP and joined Congress . Sources also informed that if party leaders not agreed to elect president unanimously then party will conduct election from ballot for the same in which all block presidents, office bearers and delegates will caste their votes .Sources said that party high command wants to nominate the district president but now when many leaders are interested for the same post and are making lobbying from the last one month which is making nomination process difficult task .
